Drying Out at the Movies

About 2 years no booze, I've "discovered" that music and film have become my prime outlets during the rough patches. It would be more accurate to say I'm rediscovering music and film, as I have several times before, and this time through a lense unclouded by a steady stream of liquor. Art in the form of modern music and film have been the few consistent sources of meaning and solace throughout my life. Recently, I stumbled upon a fantastic zine that resonated deeply with me, and I wanted to share it with all of you.
It's a short collection of several essays, out of respect for the creator, I've only shared one. The last screenshot gives full credit to the artist, and I highly encourage you to look them up and support their work. Zines like these are a dead/dying art, Independent artists, bookstores, record/music/hifi stores, all great places to meet people and interesting things to find outside of bars, at least in my experience.
Best of luck to everyone who is struggling. Remember, you're not alone, and sometimes, we find the most unexpected things that help us through our journey.
