2nd Monitor needed?

Hey guys, good evening! I was searching this sub to find if there was a common questions section but didn’t find any.

Trying to see if I need a 2nd monitor if I’m beginning to stream from my computer **if I also have a laptop**. Could I use my monitor to stream and my laptop to keep track on YouTube or Twitch comments?

Sorry if this such a rookie question, I’m brand new to this topic.

Cheers!
