Teleport redistribution
So moves like Scald, Toxic, and Knock Off took a little break from the game outside of a few very limited cases (more limited for Scald than Toxic/Knock Off, but still much lower distribution).
Now they've returned in DLC 1, but they intentionally didn't give them back to a bunch of mons who previously had it.
Teleport is currently only learned via level up by the Ralts line, meaning no access to it for a lot of slow pivots who used to get it via TM.
Would you remove any of the mons who learned it in Gen 1 from being able to learn it?
What Gen 2 and onward mons should learn it via TM?
Ones that come to mind are the Girafarig/Farigiraf line, since I was really surprised to see it didn't get it in NatDex before realizing Gen 1 was the only Gen with the TM. Would fit perfectly with Farigiraf being a Trick Room setter, and certainly wouldn't be enough to make it OP by any means. And it's a psychic type.
I feel like you could reasonably distribute it to most of the low tier TR setters/psychic types in general. Farigiraf, Oranguru, etc. Indeedee probably doesn't need it since it's already sort of an obnoxious mon for other reasons. I wonder if there's an argument for Scream Tail getting it? Doesn't need it, but Wish Port on a defensive mon that has a high base speed would be a lot nicer than outspeeding other slow mons by default. I would imagine Glowbro and Glowking would also receive it, since it makes as much sense for them as it does for Slowbro and Slowking, but maybe those are a couple mons you exclude for balance reasons (namely combining negative priority pivot with Regenerator). Would be similar to Pex losing Scald for balance reasons (most likely) despite Scald still making sense for it thematically. Another mon that comes to mind is Blissey, but since Wish Port is limited by WISH distribution, not Teleport (thus not being legal in NatDex due to Wish being event special from Gen 2, Blissey regaining Teleport doesn't change this limitation), it wouldn't be that broken I don't think, but would still be a welcome return.
Meanwhile some other non-Psychic types who'd love to get it back are Clefable and Wigglytuff (two opposite ends of the viability spectrum, I know lol). I'm primarily a draft player, and most leagues I've played in haven't banned Baton Pass (dry pass only), so you get the same slow pivot option generally and it feels nice to make mons like Wiggly a little more useful that way. Can't do it in ladder though since Baton Pass is fully banned. Would Clef get looked over for balance reasons? Not sure. But I think Wiggly definitely deserves it back.
Who else gains it? Who else loses it?
