Budget subwoofer to pair with klipsch Core 300 soundbar

I am in the market of looking for a subwoofer to pair with the core 300 soundbar. It’s a medium sized bedroom. I’m deciding to go with a wired option, because I think it’s better prices to performance then getting the wireless sub 100 or 200. My budget is around $200-300 usd and I’m perfectly fine with buying open box. My main media content is more towards movies and anime. Thank you! I also have no clue what the difference between sealed and ported is or which is better.
