Would this be flowers in the making? Also ID help.

Curious, is that small spike the start of possible flowers? also an id? I’m tossing between Echeveria Black Rose and Bloody Marie

Normally I keep orchids, but this one was sitting at my local Aldi screaming my name back in May(third picture is what I took when I got it). After dealing with glued gravel, a good soak or two it has been sitting outside since then in a bright sheltered, little cold over night with single digits Celsius temps but frost free spot. I haven’t watered it over winter because of the night temps and it hasn’t really shown any signs of dehydration. I know it’s definitely stretched out, grown a bit, and only slightly lightened up since I got it.
