Setting that reminds me you of Hemingway’s Key West

I want to be immersed in a warm, near the water, old-timey world. One where people drink cocktails, the buildings are old, birds of paradise abound, breeze is always blowing and the streets are old and narrow. It would also be cool if they stab each other in the back, collude, adventure, make love, or conspire. Bonus points for friends falling love. Basically really looking for your favorite books that take place in this specific setting.
