Vi top?

I was playing against a vi top this afternoon and i was rather shock at the damage she dealt to me. It was insane! This made me really want to try out vi top but i am wondering, why isnt vi top a thing? Also is there any vi top mains who can give some advice when playing her in top lane? Thanks :)
