Rushing executioners vs soraka

I had a friend playing Caitlyn bot with a Morgana support against a vayne and a soraka. When the game started I said rush executioners. But morgana fed and he wa behind and he said I’m never doing that again, I need my crit.

Without morgana feeding the lane and causing them both to die and vayne was 8/0 what is the best call? Game was thrown even if he had b.f sword.

Is delaying your power spike worth rushing executioners in a lane vs soraka and if not when should executioners be built when you’re ahead/even/behind?
