Is there really a conflict of interest from NBA's Head of Referee Operations Albert Sanders Jr.?

Curious what Phoenix fans think about this Albert Sanders stuff gaining traction on social media. Surprised this hasn't been brought up here yet.

On September 28th 2023, [Albert Sanders was designated as NBA's Head of Referee Operations](https://official.nba.com/albert-sanders-jr-named-head-of-nba-referee-operations) despite having no prior referee or league experience. Just a former Google exec with deep pockets... who turns out, is also a known Thunder (and Laker) fan.

Of course, take everything with a grain of salt, since the accusations originated from twitter... but it's still something to think about, and nothing has been disproven.

Personally I won't be bothered if the Suns lose (hell of a season) as it's not the refs who ultimately sealed our fate. But still, NBA officials do need their leadership called into question more. A lot more.
