Are there any good places left to look for art commissions?

I'm looking into getting an art commission made. Super hero stuff, fantasy stuff, you know the gist. Now this didn't used to be such an issue. I have a few pieces from over the years. Here's the dilemma I've run into:

I keep coming across people who claim to be drawing the pictures when instead it's clear they're using AI. Like no mistaking it. Obvious tell after obvious tell and even the "reviews" seem AI generated.

Then of course there's the other issue of some of the artists not really getting back to me if I happen to find on that looks at the least reputable.

And as for the sites I used to go to find people? They've all kind of just gone 100% into AI territory, which is not what I'm looking for.

So, anyone have any directions to point me in? Preferably with people who have some kind of online portfolio or work samples so I know what they're capable of? They don't have to be professional comic artists either, just people who do commissions on the regular and do good enough work to charge for it.
