Extrapolatory experience

On my 28th rewatch (approx haha) and I’ve been thinking about Cheyenne’s use of the word extrapolatory. I’m not a native English speaker, so I’ve searched for definitions online, but I’m still unsure whether that was supposed to be a joke or if she used it correctly? Anyone can clarify?
