Who has had a light replaced by customer service?

Basically title,

I have an XSC Weaponlight that went kaput one day so, thinking it was the battery I reached out to customer service and they sent me a new one. Battery came and I'm having basically the same issue. Reached back out to customer service and they want me to send the light in.

My issue with that is it's the light I use on my EDC handgun and I'm unable to holster the weapon without the light installed. Essentially disarming me unless I purchase a new holster or another light.

Has anybody dealt with this or something similar?
