Can someone please explain how 7.2 is the game's deathstroke?
I honestly thought 7.0 was the end and I wasn't totally wrong as for a time 7.0 had a lot of bugs. 7.1 is when I came back and I really thought the class changes were gonna be rough and while I do miss a couple of abilities and hate having to choose between a few, combat styles overall has enriched the game's experience especially for new players.
What I can't wrap my head around is how lately in-game and even on this forum there's a sudden surge of doom and gloom surrounding 7.2. Once again, the game is gonna die has has been the case since launch...
Yes, PvP will probably suck for a couple of weeks while the ranked babies try to poison the well. But very quickly their toxicity will be put to rest after most other players either block them and/or they eventually get bored (which they will) and leave. I also don't see how splitting 4v4 and 8v8 is a death blow. If anything that will improve the experience so 8v8 fans like me can get what I want and death matchers can get what they want.
So, please explain how 7.2 is the end of the line. Or add your own reasons as to why it will be a success. Or is it the ranked babies trying to push this narrative out of spite?
