DSM7 / Synology Photos - editing or customizing Places

So far I'm enjoying the automated features of DSM7 / Synology Photos on my 920+. It does a fair job of recognizing faces (on occasion it 'recognizes' an elbow or other non-facial feature as a face). However, the naming of the places (default Album) and delineation of regions seems to be off.

For example, I have a bunch of photos taken in at Hackerscher Markt, Berlin and it correctly labels these photos as Mitte, Berlin. But I have an another set taken at the Brandenburg Gate, and it also labels these at Mitte, Berlin. (OK, might be close). Another group of photos taken at the SachenHausen concentration camp in Oranienburg, but these are labelled as Lehnitz/Oberhaven, which is located east/south, respectively.

In any event, I would like to be able to edit these 'Places' names and set my own parameters as to which distance / range is considered to be ONE place. Is this possible? Is there an XML file that can be modified to allow customization? Or perhaps there's a better photo management app / docker app that caters to my desires?
