Remote SSH without port forwarding?

I've gotten to where can access the Diskstation on the same network and run Docker through there. But I'm having trouble off-network, and I can't configure any of the router settings if I need to forward ports. I've been trying options like reverse proxy, no luck. The only access that works is Quickconnect.
