WD RMA downgrading Gold to Red Plus during RMA?

We have RMAed two WD Gold drives lately. The first drive I wasn't paying much attention when it arrived. The next drive I looked a little closer. The RMA was for a WD Gold. I got a WD Red Plus.

I then went and check the other RMA from a few months ago. Sure enough it's also a WD Red Plus when it should have been a WD Gold.

Anyone else noticed this?
