SSD volume in RAID 6

I have an MSA-2060 SAN with 8 1.9TB SSD drives.

Given the limited number of drives, I can't use RAID 10 or MSA-DP+. RAID 5 is also less desirable due to its single-disk failure tolerance.

I'm curious why HP discourages RAID 6 for SSDs in their Storage Arrays Best Practices. What are the potential implications of configuring a volume in RAID 6 for my specific scenario?
