Recommendations on network "printer" that just saves to pdf?

Not sure this is the right group to ask in, but I'm in here anyway so figured I would.

I have quite a few devices that print graphs to network printers that I would like to have print to PDF for import into our systems. These aren't full desktop systems, they are a variety of devices with their own operating systems and limited user experience (think LCD screens with up and down buttons to select options)

They will print to HP compatible printers when given an IP address, but no configuration beyond that.

I didn't know if anyone knew of a package or device that would take a print job from a remote device and essentially just dump it to a pdf instead of printing. I know NovaPDF Server does that, but I believe it requires Windows drivers to work... and if not it hasn't been updated since 2019 so I'm not sure I trust that. Everything else requires Windows/Mac to run on.

I don't mind rolling my own with CUPS or something, though not sure where to start on that one. But would much prefer a solution that someone else has already taken the time to get working.

Thanks!
