DNS Auditing

Anyone got a good DNS auditing script?

Reverse -> Forward -> Reverse to make sure it all matches. Ping sweeps to see what's online and if it's online and without DNS flag it?

I guess I'll write something in Python if it doesn't exist, but thought I'd ask before spending a week on it...
