VMware, why can't I give you money?

Our support contract with VMware expired a while back when no one was looking. I'd like to get it reinstated. I've gone through their web portal to request a quote a few times but never get any response. I tried calling them and after going through the menu, it dumps me straight to their sales team's voicemail.

Anyone else having trouble buying from them? Anyone know any magic incantations to actually summon a human I could talk to?
