Win10 Kiosk Mode?
I'm doing a one-off kiosk, just going to be on a stand-alone machine, not domain-joined (could be I guess, the reason I'm not is it is not for my employer but another customer) etc.
I haven't done this before but read this article here:

It looks like, a simple way to just copy, edit, run the PowerShell script. I had done that with a testuser on a local account. I would expect it to just go right to IE like the script looks like. However I'm just dropped to a standard desktop.

Am I doing something wrong? Or missing steps?

Edit: I had enabled the shell launcher without issue: dism /image:c:\\wim /enable-feature /all /featureName:Client-EmbeddedShellLauncher

Edit2: Yes, I also commented out the disabling of the shell at the end, this is what my output is:

Shell Launcher license enabled is set to True

Default Shell is set to cmd.exe and the default action is set to 1

Current settings for custom shells:

Sid Shell Default Action
\--- ----- ------
S-1-5-21-2416610978-2055660127-3973619323-1002 c:\\program files\\internet explorer\\iexplore.exe [www.microsoft.com](https://www.microsoft.com)0
S-1-5-32-544 explorer.exe

Enabled is set to True

Edit 3: Got it to "work". Made another user, and changed the shell before logging in. Would be nice to figure out how to change existing users. But since I'm starting from scratch, it's not the total end of the world to set it up that way.
