CompTIA A+ Certification from 25 years ago

While going through some old papers I ran across my CompTIA A+ congratulations letter after passing the tests. I thought others might be interested in what this looked like. You got a welcome packet with the pages here:

As well as an A+ lapel pin and an ID card with your name on it for your wallet. I have to say it made you feel special to get these. I have no idea what you get these days for passing.

For context, in 1996 when I took and passed both tests there were a total of 3 tests and everyone had to pass:

* A+ Core (hardware)

Then you choice of either:

* Mac OS (System 7) * DOS/Windows (6.22 and 3.1 respectively)

At the time all A+ certs were lifetime, so I'm still A+ certified after having only taken these two tests 25 years ago.
