safariland holster light fitment issue

I have a Safariland 6378RDS (6378RDS-2222-131) for my MP 2.0 with a HS407 and a TLR-1HL. I have noticed that I can never trully vertictally insert the pistol into the holster because this raised cutout that's always blocking the light's mounting screw. I usually have to angle the gun a little bit so the mounting screw can pass through the space below that cut out. Is that the same for everyone here with a similar setup? I am considering getting a X300 because this really annoys me, but I am not sure if it's the same issue with surefire as well.
