Registering marriage in Taiwan

I’m married to a Taiwanese citizen who has lived in the US for over 20 years now. My husband has an ID card and Taiwanese passport. We married in the United States. We are going to Taiwan in December for a few weeks, and I’d like to register our marriage with his household.

I’m not clear on how we can certify our marriage and register it in Taiwan so I can get an ARC. Does anyone have any experience doing this, and if so, any advice to give? Thanks!
