Artorius and pity.

Am I the only one who didn't feel an ounce of pity for the guy even in the final battle? Like even after all the cutscenes of why. Fact remains he didn't need to burn Velvet that hard for that much time. And suppressing the emotions of the whole world in the first place seemed like a dumb actualization to me. Not to mention constantly throwing Laphicet-Inomminat in her face to push her further off the edge. Like I'm not ranting I just don't understand the kind of final enemy he was supposed to be.
