It stopped working

User: "It stopped working so we rebooted the machine by holding in the powerbutton." Me: "The application stopped and you strangeled the computer instead of restarting the app??" User: "Then the program did'nt start again, so we rebooted again." Me: "The application autostarts but has to recheck a lot of databases, log files and connections and says so with BIG LETTERS on the screen and a counter?" User: "Then the program did'nt start again, so we rebooted again." Me: "I feel this is an evil loop." User: "What?" Me: "Given that I'm here now, I assume it is still not working?" User: "We can show you how to reboot it."

(Not much context, I know, but I have repressed most of what happened in that story, I just remember that part and the **STRONG URGE TO KILL!**)
