Significant Job Change…do I listen?

I currently manage a team of very awesome, very smart people in a huge credit card processing company. I’ve been with that team for 7+ years and leading it for 1.7years now. I was feeling shafted after some false promises and big changes with my role, so I interviewed for another company in finance and got a *very* financially lucrative offer.

I asked my deck “is it the right time to change jobs”, “should I leave X company for Y company right now” with a 13 card pile ace yes/no spread. I got 1 reversed ace of pentacles and plenty of stacks without any aces at all. I figured “well this is a no”. Me, being me, decided to keep prying. “What am I not seeing with X company (the new company)” and got reversed 9 of wands and king of pentacles.

…..so. Can someone validate my feelings here that tarot is probably telling me I’m walking into a shit storm if I go? Or, is there a better way to ask my deck about this career change to get more clarity on what the right decision is?
