sd card issues. Please don't just tell me to grant access. read...

My original Galaxy Note 20 I managed to get the SD card adopted and even after upgrading to Android 13 everything still works.

Replacement phone, same model, comes with A13. This is the important part to read. I can "grant access" to only ONE FOLDER and it's subfolders on the SD card at any given time and none of those can be "root" "Downloads" or "DCIM/Camera". I tried the "Tasker-Permissions" app from Github. Didn't work.

OTHER APPS can access the full sd-card without any problem. There have been other posts on here for the same issue that were either ignored or people didn't bother reading and just told the poster to grant access. Please, I need a real solution.
