advice needed: dad is weird about tattoo

so i have a few (4) tattoos that my parents already know about but my parents saw one on my wrist that they didnt know about. My mom is better, said that if i plan to live at home after school i shouldn't get anymore during that time (i graduate in may) but my dad is worse. he's a businessman, grew up very buttoned up and has a thing about appearances. i'm not sure how to navigate this because it comes off like my dad wants some sort of hold over what i do with my body (he's very liberal mind you) but my mom also has tattoos and he doesn't say anything about those. i dont plan on getting any more but i feel like ive fucked up because this happened once before already.
