Dynasty

Boys and girls, I think we can finally say it - as the Boys in Blue are now just the second team to three-peat in LCS, I do believe we have a genuine dynasty on our hands.

No, it’s not yet to the same extent that TSM has had being omnipresent in LCS finals year after year, but this is absolutely the makings of it and being 21-4 in playoff matches over the run certainly doesn’t hurt either. We’ve put together the kind of success that only one other storied team has put together here in NA and the players, coaches, and the ENTIRE ORG (here’s looking at you especially, u/liquid112 ) deserves a tremendous amount of praise and accolades for assembling this incredible, WINNING product for us fans.

I was able to go to the series thanks to it finally being in the Midwest (let’s have more events over here, please!) and the atmosphere was utterly electric. After last years Summer Finals, where the fans were almost entirely C9 and the stadium sounded silent over the stream while C9 got 3-0d I didn’t expect great representation for TL. However, it felt almost even as far as TL-TSM fandom in the arena and the atmosphere was UTTERLY electric as we won each successive team fight. Clearly the Team Liquid brand has been doing something right to generate this level of fandom and it’s in no small part based to the level of play we’re seeing from our team.

I’m so immensely proud of them, I’m so immensely proud to have been able to watch it in person, and I’m so excited for MSI. No more of this “Universal Choking Sign” stuff, more of the “Best in NA” stuff.

LET’S GO LIQUID!!!!
