Using a different battery model on a laptop?

I've ended up in [https://www.ipc-computer.eu/](https://www.ipc-computer.eu/) while looking at replacement batteries for an Acer Aspire 3 A315. The websites says that my laptop should be compatible with some alternative battery models with greater capacity, originally made for other Acer laptops.

Mounting points are the same, dimensions ***look*** pretty similar and apart from the capacity, specifications are pretty similar. Example:

Original (AC14B18J): 3220 mAh, 11.4 Volt, 3 cells

Alternative (AP19B8M): 4821 mAh, 11.61 Volt, 3 cells

Have I just found a way to upgrade my battery capacity or will I find myself with a thicker battery that doesn't fit or simply doesn't work?
