Gaming PC crashes with heavy motion blur

Hi, my PC has been crashing intermittently when playing the new Elden Ring DLC, usually in areas of high motion blur. This has been occurring with graphics on max, high, and medium. When it crashes, it freezes, with mouse and keyboard not responding. Once or twice, waiting has resolved the issue, and the Device Manager shows error 43 for the graphics card, and an error for an audio driver.

Almost every other time, it doesn't fix itself by waiting, and the only thing that fixes it is rebooting it a whole bunch of times. It invariably will freeze again.

I have tried:

* Rebooting * Changing display cables * Changing TYPE of cable (displayport vs HDMI) * Changing monitors * Changing display ports * Only using one monitor * Driver update * Driver reinstall * Driver reinstall from Device Manager * Full windows reinstall * BIOS reinstall

Build is as follows:

CPU: Intel Core i7-10700 2.9 GHz 8-Core Processor  Motherboard: ASROCK H410M-HDV/M.2 CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition 59 CFM CPU Cooler Memory: Klevv BOLT X 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory Storage: Western Digital Blue SN550 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive  Storage: Seagate BarraCuda 4 TB 3.5" 5400 RPM Internal Hard Drive Video Card: MSI RTX 3060 Ventus 3X 12G OC GeForce RTX 3060 12GB 12 GB Video Card Power Supply: SeaSonic S12III 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

Also some WiFi + Bluetooth PCiE card.

All help appreciated, I'm at my wit's end. My next step is going to be putting in my old 1060Ti and hoping to isolate it to a hardware failure. The card is only 18 months old.
