Need help with Lenovo P40w-20 screen going black

I have a P40w-20 as my second screen for a Lenovo Thinkpad P14s gen 4. Almost every time I bring up google maps or marylands tax map, or I am working on drawing in Bluebeam, the second screen constantly goes black. Now once i disconnect the second screen and switch from the tab on chrome from the map to say any other website, or close bluebeam and then re-plug the monitor back in, the screen works fine, but if I then switch back to the map or relaunch bluebeam, immediate black screen. some days I have no problem, and then I can have a stretch where I have to fight this damn thing every day. What do I need to do to fix this, I am not that savvy so a step by step guid would be incredible. Thanks
