absolutely dogshit ping in games (primarily roblox) even though speedtest says i have very good internet speed

i'm on windows 11 with fast wifi, and, for whatever stupid reason, my ping in roblox is genuinely horrific. I have tried MULTIPLE fixes, none have worked, posted on roblox support AND r/robloxhelp and they haven't done jackshit. is there literally any way to fix this or does roblox just hate me?
