Would it be possible to play a game on one laptop that is installed in a second laptop by connecting it via ethernet cable?

I'm not super tec savy, so I honestly have no idea if this is a viable idea. My current laptop has okay specs, but very little storage, whereas my old laptop has a ton of storage but it several years out of date and can't run Windows 11. Would it be possible to play games on the newer one that are downloaded and saved to the older one?

The newer laptop is an HP Envy, and the older a Dell Inspiron, if that matters.
