Using a Dell XPS L502X and the CD Drive has stopped working. Details inside, hoping to avoid fully replacing it!
So my CD Drive has been broken for a while, but I never thought to message here about it. It won't read CDs or DVDs and can only be opened manually. Moreover, I can't command it to open via "Computer > Devices with removable storage > CD Drive > Eject", all I get is a message saying "An error occurred while ejecting 'CD Drive (D:)'. I checked the drivers, which are up to date according to Device Manager, and I'm fairly computer illiterate so I'm a bit stumped after that. The system specs from DireectX dialog are here anyway, if you need anything else, ask, I'm not sure what's relevant.
