Please tell me how to run at 144hz. Help?

Hey, all. Thanks in advance for the help.

Just bought a new monitor, AOC G2460pqu, but it seems to be running at 60hz according to what I see on Windows, and 60hz is also what the on-screen menu tells me. I bought this monitor *because I wanted* to see 144hz, but it isn't happening yet. I used the included DVI cable, and I'm pretty sure it's a dual-link, but I will crawl back under to check after I post this.

8GB Ram, um... DDR3, I think.

XFX R9-280 Black Edition Card, 3G GDDR

Not sure what else to tell you guys - I know the monitor can do it, and I'm fairly sure the GPU can do it, but I just don't know what to check next. Drivers on the card, and on the monitor are up to date.

I'm going to be bummed if I have to get a new graphics card.
