My sister's tablet will pause videos every minute

My sister and I have the same model tablets, and recently she's been encountering an issue. We listen to music during D&D and she casts it to our Bluetooth speaker, and lately it's just been pausing every minute. This happens with every video player. She got Malwarebytes to see if it would fix the problem. any ideas on what would help?

if specs help; its a samsung galaxy tab e lite (model SM-T113) running android version 4.4.

**Edit: it turned out to be an app that wasn't optimized for the tablet**
