External Harddrive Problem (Windows 10) (WD Elements)
I am in desperate need of some way to fix my issue. A external harddrive about 6 terabytes big has stopped functioning properly after restarting my PC. The data i have on it is absolutely paramount and I cant risk losing it without having lost years of work and files that I need to have
the error Im getting is this "location not accessible
volume does not contain a recognized file system"
So far my efforts to fix the issue have proven fruitless as even sfc/scannow says nothing is wrong and rightclicking the drive, that is if i can even get to the dang thing because windows explorer becomes a lot more unstable when its plugged in now, only prompts me that it cant scan it because it isnt formatted
please im begging for help, i cant afford to lose this data as it would put my livelihood at risk.
EDIT: Running a Chkdsk i can confirm the harddrive hasnt been reverted into RAW and is instead in NTFS, and moreso its listing several areas as "Record segment is unreadable"
EDIT 2: Ive ran Stellar and Ontrack but once they reached 100% on deep scanning they crash...
