Advantages to Wireless Switch vs. Individual WiFi Devices?

I currently have an Airport Extreme connected to my cable modem. My Xbox 360, Slingbox (via AirPort Express in bridge mode), and TiVo all sit in my media center, and each has their own wireless connection to router. (Only the Tivo is -g, the rest are -n devices.) Is it possible, and would it be advantageous to connect these devices via ethernet to a switch, and then connect that to the AirPort Express's wireless? Eventually I'll get this all onto a switch and run some cabling through the basement, but that is not an option at the moment.
