Windows 11 no System Sounds

Hiya!

I seem to have this weird bug in Win11 that all my system sounds are not working (like plugging in usb, error pops, start sound, etc.)

all my other sounds (music, youtube, browsers, games, discord, steam) work fine.

I thought it was a mixer/volume issue, but I checked and everything seems in order. After that I checked the sound scheme settings, everything seems ok there as well.

has anyone experienced the same problem or might even have a solution?
