Is $99 for the Fortaleza blanco a good price?

I was shopping at Stew Leonard’s in Yonkers and noticed a bottle of Fortaleza Blanco priced at $99. Why has this tequila become so sought-after? I remember when it used to sit on shelves for much less, but now it seems to be a hot item that’s hard to find.
