Confusion on the Shehai

I noticed there was a depressing lack of Shehai mods on Nexus, and I wanted to remedy that, but I really want to make sure it's lore-accurate.

I understand that the Shehai is Tonal Manipulation, and that it's **not** a Bound Sword. What I want to know, though, is more specifically about what it would actually *look like*. This would mean:

* Literally, what would it look like? Would it just look similar to a Bound Sword, but a scimitar instead of a Daedric sword?

* I know it's been mentioned that it can be blindingly fast, but is it always?

* Game Mechanics-wise, would it work similar to the Thu'um, only with Memory Stones replacing Word Walls and different color/style swords replacing different Shouts?
