Question about the "Crafted by >playername<" part of a weapon description

Does it save as some sort of account data that always shows the current display name of said player, or does it just save the name of the player as normal text that doesn't change?

I'm asking because I was thinking of changing my name for a moment so my crafted weapons have a funny name as the creator
