Beta Thalassemia - Heat Sensitivity ?

i live in TX. im sure everyone is aware of how hot it gets here.

i feel like my body reacts quicker to it. like i can be in the heat for 5 minutes and instantly start to feel ill. i will begin to feel incredibly exhausted and weak, my head begins to hurt. and i feel like i hydrate enough.

could this be related at all?
