Is "Burn it all down" a strawman?

David has now repeated the question "When has burn it all down ever worked?" However, is it fair to equate someone who no longer wants to give their vote to a party that does not represent them as self destructive?

To be more clear: David claims that Biden is different on key issues of: The climate, supreme court nominations, other judge appointments. And therefore it would be more advantageous for our own future to give our votes to Biden.

My counter argument: As Robert Reich has stated, there are really two classes in America. Joe Biden and Donald Trump are in the same class. They are part of the donor class, the elite, the financial elite, the corporate elite, whatever you want to call it. The mass of voters are not part of this class. And, as long as we continue to give our votes to this class of nominee, regardless of political party, no significant change will occur.

This brings me to the strawman: The DNC needs the progressive vote to win a national election. Staying home is equivalent to the Bus Boycott. In this one instance, our vote is our power. When Rosa Parks was arrested, and everyone agreed not to use the bus was this a burn it all down philosophy? People were definitely risking negative actions from not being able to go to work. However, if the bus company said, "We will give any minority half price fare for four years, just let us keep discriminating." and people took them up on that offer, would we have black people still sitting in the back? I offer to you that Joe Biden is that half priced fare. So I will not vote Biden because the bus boycott did work. And the climate, the supreme court, and other judge appointments will all be viewed from a Biden administration as corporations and profit over people. Was Obama's centrist supreme court pick any better in this regard?

My hope is that David reads this and stops equating me with someone who wants to burn it all down. I don't, but I do not want to support someone who, if they win, can rightly ignore my and my concerns because I will vote for them anyway.
