Undocumented Benefits of Atomize?

We all know that what the game says and what the game does don't always match. So, are there any things that benefit from Atomize that you might not otherwise know? Does the specialist grenade launcher have a bigger radius? Does anything in the skill tree get an unexpected boost (artillery cannon, seeker mines)? Stuff like that. Like Paradox for chem launchers used to be, but on a smaller scale.
