The fact that Oscar got scammed doesn't mean he's bad at finances

Maud Beaton is a professional con artist who knew exactly what buttons to push to get money out of Oscar, crying to Aurora that she thinks he is a fortune hunter and all that. And now I see all sorts of comments on this sub about how he is "bad at finances" and I don't think that's fair. The fact is we don't really know one way or the other how good he was at his banking job.
