Interloper Signal Void Completed!

It's been a while since I've made a post just to pat myself on the back, but I completed the Signal Void content on Interloper and figured I'd share some thoughts.

I originally did the content on Stalker (and recorded it for posterity on the [YouTubes](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXBHgY47XN8&list=PLUubCzdSahV-wxdLZ3-a4FpuFITO3xXUH&index=5)), so I knew where all the transmitters were, and roughly where all of the bunkers were. So one day, I fired up an interloper run where I was on day 22-ish at TWM, just chilling with a pile of steaks, and decided, "You know what? I'm going to do Signal Void on interloper and see what's different." That run ended around day 60, while I was streaming to my buddy and showboating around in HRV, waiting for an aurora. My hubris is what got me killed.

So I cranked up another interloper run which started in FM. I made a bee-line for Ash Canyon, grabbed the gold mine goodies, hit the summit of TWM and got a flare gun, and then it was go-time for Signal Void. I was done around the end of day 42. I almost got caught by an aurora wolf on my way to Bunker Omega. I would have been SO MAD if that had been the end of my run, but I managed to sprint to the hatch before he could start a charge.

The thing that stood out most for me is, it's one thing to play interloper and merely try to maximize survival time, but with Signal Void, now you have **tasks**, and they are not insignificant. To be fair, I could have gone slower and played it more like a traditional interloper game, and just hit the marks as I got to them, but I was doing Signal Void like it was my job. I did get a bow made, but I did almost no hunting, never made a moose-hide satchel, and ate about a million cattail stalks to keep me fed as I marched the 200+ km back and forth across Great Bear.

Anyway, the reward is hardly worth all the effort, but it felt like a nice accomplishment to get it done.
