Trader thoughts

I’ve read a lot of speculation about the Trader coming and how it’ll work. I’ve seen a lot of people talk about using the shortwave handheld radio as the communication method for the Trader.

I had a different thought though. What if instead of the handheld radio, during the aurora when you turn the normal radio on inside houses, you randomly might hear someone trying to send a broadcast message? They mention looking for specific things and a drop off spot to bring it to maybe?

Hinterland never mentioned the handheld, just radio.

I think it’s part of the DLC, and not the free update but just like the option to turn it off if it’s not wanted, if you don’t have the DLC, you just wouldn’t hear the broadcast.
